Haha, well I finally got around to editing those pictures so I figured I'd post them up. Nothing has changed cosmetic wise on my car in a couple of years, so I don't take as many pictures as I used to.

Heya,

New here and new to German cars in general. I just traded in my 2012 Mustang for a Mk5 VW. My wife and I found out we're moving to Spain (US Military), so we decided it would be better for us to have a car that my wife can drive and one that is definitely more Euro. So about 2 weeks ago her and I went to CarMax and fell in love with one of the cars there, unfortunately wasn't able to get that one since it was on its way out to a different dealer. So we looked around online and found another one, this one pretty much same deal just with the sun roof option and more expensive than the CarMax vehicle. So long story shorter, we got this VW as a CPO and we're really happy with our choice. Already making plans on what we can do to the car to make it more ours.

Welcome to the forums! Great find on that mkV. Looks like you're pretty much working with a blank slate. There is a plethora of information on this forum for whatever you want to do to your car. Most people start with tint, suspension, and wheels, but then you have some members doing full builds. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that we look forward to seeing more pictures from you. :thumbsup:
