Ecs cam follower kit oe?

Found a kit that includes o-ring, fuel pump bolts and cam follower on ecs for $50. It says follower is manufactured by INA. Is this an oe supplier or should I look for genuine vw/audi?

No, it's not an OE supplier, but you should be perfectly fine to use that part

Could always upgrade with a stud kit if you were worried about stripping out the aluminum housing with OE bolts, plus the stud kit is reusable: http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=181681

plus with the cam followers on these cars...being how finicky they are and all i'd stick to the OEM...ESPECIALLY if your car is still under warranty for the cam follower

I'm under 120k limit, but I was told that vw has voided my warranty after they discovered my tuned ecu. Whether that's bs or not, I'm not sure. But I am tuned. So I need to keep on it myself.

Does the soft fuel line need to come off with stud kit?

most people are able to move the pump on and off with the line attached

Big +1 on the stud conversion! Installed mine and love it, cant believe this isn't an OEM part lol.
