Original owner, daily drive from new until ~mid 2008, 25k miles. Car never has any paint work done on it (have clean fax). Everything works on the car and runs perfectly. Never gave me any trouble on street or at events. Engine and airbag lights are on due to no cats and no seat air bags. Have most of receipts for parts and DSG service.
Car will be sold as is (will not smog car for buyer). Currently under non-op status, so it is not street legal. Will not pass smog as it has an open exhaust.
Here are some of the “big ticket” items:
Seats/harness: $5500
Wheels/tires (both sets): $3200
KW Clubsports: $3000
I would easily say I have at least $15k into parts on the car.
Asking $9,500 obo, title in hand. Will not part at this point. Only test drive can be done in a parking lot as the car is not street legal. Car is located in Temple City, CA.
If you want to take it with the Carson trailer with custom long ramps to make getting the car on and off easier (purchased for $3k) for $11,000.
Service/Maintenance:
Up to ~25k miles: Mobil 0/40 and filter change every 5k miles
~25k to present, Mobil 0/40 and brake flush after every HPDE event
At 31,100 miles (performed at Pasadena VW):
DSG service
Replace intake flap motor per VW service bulletin
Replace crank ventilation valve per VW service bulletin
Engine modifications:
GIAC engine and DSG software
VF Engineering passenger and driver engine mount
VF Engineering engine pendulum mount
Forge cold air intake it (air filter routed to behind driver fog light)
Forge front mount intercooler (this is in addition to the factory one)
Exhaust:
42 Draft designs 3” turbo back (car is currently running no cats or any resonators/mufflers).

KW Clubsports coil overs with built in camber fronts for front struts
SuperPro aluminum lower control arms
