Clutch came in today. stg 4 rated at 480 ft lbs. Bought it used with only 2k miles on it. Figured it was a good way to save $1000.

BT's torque curve changes quite a bit compared to K03's and K04's. Sure they make more torque than a K04, but the percentage gap in hp/torque is different. I've seen BT 1.8T's making 300whp and only 250wtq. Our cars make more haha.
Eric, hopefully that clutch was broken in properly.

lol because race car. 480lb ft torque would be easily 550hp. Not too many MkV's running those numbers and those that do have that also have auxiliary fuel pumps, a second set of injectors...etc.

im guessing the gti has forged rods or do you have to upgrade them for 450lb+ ft torque

He bought rods. Not sure that they're installed back, but I think he posted pictures of them a page or two back.
