Sorry to hear about the dogs, man 
2 in a month or so...good god!
That would end me for a while I suspect.
I just spent $6000 on mine due to a urinary block and having to get 24 hour care for 5 days...that hurt but it is only money and you can't put a price on a life IMO.
Now my other dog needs his tooth pulled at 9 months old and the 6K one has surgery for his breathing in 2 weeks lol.
We have vet insurance now...luckily.

We're hoping to get another...we're waiting for the right one to come along. We've looked at a few, but nothing has been *perfect* yet. Searching the humane society website daily.

That's a problem...as dogs tend to be real attracted to me.
That one I posted last ran right to the door of the pen when I called him. When we took him into the little room he came right to me and sat on my lap the whole time. No interest in anyone else in the room...

all good except for: BOV not working correctly, lpfp still cavitating at low load(idle). Other than that, everything seems to be working great. Going to swap BOV springs tonight and see if that changes anything
