Is he talking about DSG oil change or engine oil change? If the DSG needs to have oil changed every 6k miles, that will get INSANELY expensive. I think he means engine oil.

NOTE: the OEM clutch pack is only stable up to 425 crank HP and will need upgrading if this limit is exceeded. According to HPA.
