MKV GTI jerks to the right when accelerating

Anyone got any ideas? The car drives fine when gradually accelerating but once I give it a little quick throttle the car jerks violently to the right, making it very unsafe to drive right now.

I've check the tie rods control arm, ball joints,
everything looks fine except the cv shaft which has a torn boot. Thanks!

Could be a factor of things. Alignment, tire pressure, abnormal tire wear. Did you hit anything or did it just start happening one day?

And that torn boot doesn't worry you? Is it on the side that is pulling when accelerating?

yeah that torn boot is on the side thats pulling it, might be a control arm bushing, but yeah it feels like a violent quick swing to the right

Most likely a bad CV joint. If the boot is torn it will throw all the grease and leave you with a dry CV joint, can almost guarantee it's binding up.
