MKV footwell lights help please

I see what you mean about getting closer to LED. I just saw another one of you posts about Blesk bulbs. Are the Blesks are plug & play LED'S with no resistor wiring needed? I want to keep error codes/burnouts away!

Yes.

Blesk will work in the footwell lights - plug and play.
Yes, Blesk will work in the city lights - plug and play.
I am still running them in the city lights, no problems so far.

Same can not be said about Blesk license lights.

Right.
Footwell, glove box, front map lights, rear dome light and rear map lights,
city lights, front side maker lights - all use the same stock bulb.
Took eight of them to cover only my interior.

Sweet-thanks! Found them for $4.00/pr. on E-Bay. I called 42DD and they said don't use theirs on MKV's yet, unless you wire things up. They're workin on it-so Blesk it is!

Not all Blesk bulbs have the extra load for error cancelling.
There is a lower cost Blesk wedge that will not work in these locaitons.
This is the error canceling version.

Are you saying the blue T10's (non error-cancelling) won't work in the interior? I see that they only come in pure white, for side markers, city lights, etc.

HID Concepts said some people have used the blue ones with no errors...

No,
I am saying they will not work in the footwell lights.
They will work ok in interior dome, map, and glove box lights.

Ok, sorry... Do you know of a site/ebay seller that sells blue lights (preferably LED's) for the footwell lights, that won't throw a bulb out light? Link?

What resistance/wattage do you need to use for the footwell?

I just went to the sit and pluged in my car and they have a list of what fits..
