Yeah there's a culture around nowadays to assume the president is an all powerful dictator. The reality is the president is one of three branches of government. The president does not create the laws, that's what congress does. As shitty of a candidate as Trump is, he's not going to have the power that some think he will.

Now what will be interesting, is that the right took home both the House and Senate majority. That means they will be able to get legislature through with relative ease. We'll have to see how this plays out.

Nah, there was hope before the DNC selected quite possibly the worst presidential candidate in history. She lost to Barack Obama when he was an absolute nobody, she nearly lost to a 70 year old socialist, and she lost to someone who's not even a real candidate. The only hope the left had was lost when they voted in the candidate with the worst projected chance to beat Trump.

I don't think re-writing the rules and going on this shady path to rewrite Trump being voted in is the way to go. Respect the votes that the American people put in. If there's problems with the system, we need to work on it together so it doesn't happen next time around. But to undermine what happened this election, is unfortunately undermining democracy at it's core.

Speaking of donors, I almost forgot about Clintons other donors like Qatar, and Bahrain. You know, the effective dictatorship countries in which it's punishable by law to be gay. But yet somehow Clinton was seen as the savior of the LGBTQ community despite being against the LBGTQ community for 95% of her life.

These protests are a direct result of media like CNN sweeping shit like this under the rug and all the while devoting 8-10 hours a day smearing Trump with false accusations. Sad.

This is what ive been saying for weeks. If literally anyone else went up against trump it would have been a landslide for them. They just chose to keep all efforts rallied on Clinton for some reason who people truly disliked and did not trust.

The more I read the news, the more I'm convinced many on the liberal left (including the Hollywood elitists who appointed themselves as national pundits and spokespersons) are not mature enough to handle a democracy.

My daughter's elementary school principal (in the very liberal San Francisco Bay Area) sent an email to all of the parents talking about grief counselors and vent sessions. I promise you this same email would not have gone out had the results been different.

The entitled attitude of millennials is spreading to the entire liberal left, regardless of age.
