Ouch! After trying for 30 minutes one day to deactivate the APR anti theft, I would have freaked the F out if that was cause.

Yeah, gonna replace the belt, see if it runs, and go from there. If it works out for the best I will buy the other parts. Just hoping it does not require a rebuild

:frown: that totally sucks, you're def going to have to rebuild the head. As long as the motor was on and the timing belt broke, the pistons would have already smacked up against the valves.

:frown: If it was the intake chain that broke, you could make the argument that the cam follower broke and seized up the intake chain. But exhaust timing belt is all wear and tear. You have to probably see if you can find a used head and bolt it up. But then again, its another thing to see if the valves damaged the pistons, or any piece broke off and messed with anything int he cylinder. Are you mechanically versed to do the work yourself?

Good news is that Techtonics has a complete valve replacement kit for $415. And they have HD spring kit with Titanium retainers good to 8000 rpm for $400. Grab a Dremel and port and polish that mofo! :thumbsup:

Not sure. Call and ask to talk to Randy Roth. If it's redundant I'm sure they'll put the right kit together. They are old school racers. Colin used to smoke built muscle cars on the 1/4 miles with his MK I back in the day at Riverside and their customer service is up there with Neuspeed. But just talk to them in person.
