Exhaust Set Up Question - Please Help.

Hi All,

A bit of background on my car, I have a mkv GTI FSI on APR Stage 2+ tune with APR Catted DP and stock resonator and rear suitcase muffler deleted with the rear R32 look tail pipe.

I feel a bit of drone on highway, assuming it is due to the stock resonator not strong enough to quiet the drone after 3500 rpm. I would like to weld an aftermarket centre resonator to get rid of the drone. Dont have the money to get a full catback exhaust, would like to know if you know any good aftermaker resonator that can quiet down the drone.

Any input will be appreciated.

I use their aluminum mufflers, not resonators so I dont have any first hand experience

So all you have is the cat? If your still running the stock catback, why not just put the resonator back in?

I have catted dp and suitcase muffler deleted, I still have the stock resonator on, but still drone, looking to get an aftermarket resonator to quiet the drone in the cabin.
