A/C not cooling... R32

I noticed my AC wasnt working also today... just wasnt getting cold. I took the car to the local mechanic who re-gassed the AC but still not getting cold... any one else had this issue?

faulty AC of the mk5 platform is not un common.

is the car still under warranty ?

Mine takes a good 10min to get going. Anyone had similar issues?
I haven't complained about it because I hardly ever use it.

sadly its just out of warranty... I will be getting it looked at ASAP and will post up findings and outcome.

If you read the links I posted you'd know that you will either get it all covered or partial coverage out of warranty. If the car hasn't been dealer serviced you may not get as much covered or any at all but either way get it in asap to a dealer (preferably one that you've dealt with before).

Ditto..and seems to be cooler when my right foot gets heavy. Weird.

VW denlo looked at the car today and fixed it for free... turns out the local mechanic was a total dud who might even find himself getting an ear bashing the next time i stop past. He depleted gas from the system which made the car screech when pushed hard...

even thought he car was just out of warranty they did the job free of charge. VW denlo Parramatta..
