Y-Pipe Swap?? worth it?

Plug it. It's worth the 8 bucks for the plug and cap needed :)

Hardware stores and autozone should sell the plug I used. Home Depot has the cap. Make sure you get a hose clamp for the cap on the firewall side. The pic I didn't have one cause it was a test fit.

You know, you could just pull off the pipe, plug it, then put the pipe back on

VW folks will never know, and you won't have to worry about capping lol.

SO, how many horsepowers am I adding here?
Should I wear a helmet?
Will the addition of boost get me laid more?
Will other things happen also as such?

well if ur gonna go that way, then u will see some throttle response improvement, but not much. i would rather go with the real throttle pipe. well thats what i did and it was a big difference.

So, I got lazy and just stuck a big rubber stopper where the silicone connects to the plastic noise pipe. I even closed it and it looks stock. Maybe its because I had a few beers before doin it and got lazy. :drinking:

Test drive tomorrow. :burnrubber:
