After possibilities in the B6 Passat range, comparing with new Passat model launching locally on 30th April.

Would like TDI with options:
Xenons
Auto tailgate
Alarm
Electric seats with memory

Any offers, etc. please PM

That car seems so sensible its almost wrong.

Compare it to an Aurion or Commodore and it's not so bad.

Remember we are on a VW forum here, not a frog admirer cafe!

Forgot to add RVC as i think it would be more useful than the standard sensors.

Hard to find that combo on late model, even on early ones it is difficult.
Esp the xenons, haven't found one on the web yet with them.
Might have to fork out for the new model i guess if i want options.
This will be another keeper for me so i need to make sure it will go the distance.

This is a very "plain" car for use as a family car/kid taxi.
But already have in-principle approval for chip :)
Won't do anything else to it.

I've grown to like euro cars, enough that i didn't even consider ford or commodore from the get go. Also nicer i think than asian models.
Plus i already have VAG stuff and forum friends too!

Would really have to be less than equivalent new Passat.
I figure about $50K onroad with options as above and roughly 10% corporate/other disc.
Guess the discount part may vary but no way to tell until you try.

Would prefer not to have an R36. Despite the fun, it would suck fuel and would want it to have cushy ride (as opposed to sporty ride on R36 or stiffer suspension on V6 models due to weight).

Guess it looks like a lot of people just traded up and got the R36 for the features.
