The first was the email many had a while back on holding status.
The second update came 2 hours later. Same as posted here.

I am excited to message you with good news regarding your order.

As you may know, there was a really difficult period of time, regarding
the mufflers - when they were hard to get (due to a couple of supplier
delays). Some of the people even said that they might have been locked
to VIN numbers, but this is not the case with our orders.

Fortunately, right now - our product manager has said and confirmed that
we will have those mufflers arriving approximately on 29 / 30 of March.
All of the orders, including yours will be shipped asap with Express.

The tracking number will be uploaded to your order - once ready! If you
have any questions, please, feel free to message us and we will be more
than happy to help you.

There is a downside of the mod..... I always keep on stepping the gas and listen the beautiful exhaust note and DSG shifting sound...... suddenly I found it is already 130km/h

Damn ..... a bit worry will receive some speeding tickets soon....

Sorry they haven't been replying to you. I heard from the other thread from someone else who received contact from cars245. From Natalia herself!!! According to them there is no VIN lock, so who do we believe? Cars? Or the UK dealer that someone called last week to confirm?

I can only assume that as the mufflers were ordered bfore the decision to VIN Lock them, that VW have let them through. I can't imagine why the dealer would have told me they were VIN Locked if they weren't, I approached them and asked for a quote for the parts, they gave me the prices, told me they were VIN Locked and also said that once ordered, the order could not be cancelled, presumably because the VIN Lock would mean they would be stuck with them if I cancelled.

I'm sorry if I missed this as I've been following a handful of CSS-related threads, but has anyone been able to yet confirm or deny that the ONLY difference between the standard CS muffler (5G6253609AN) and the CSS muffler (5G6253609DD) is the necessary reducer for the "normal" GTI midpipe?
