Which DV to go with?

I had a forge, greased it once in 50k and 2.5 years. It worked great, used a high temp grease.

how does installing a new intake cause a boost leak ?

It doesn't cause a boost leak..... The boost leak is just much more pronounced now....

There's no leak....OP just hears things(boost recirculation) now :thumbsup:

No there actually is a boost leak....

At about 10 psi it starts leaking.

Didn't list forge because I dont want to have to bother with greasing it or w/e you have to do with it and I heard the Rev D doesn't allow as much boost.

I've had the Forge DV since 2007 and never greased it once. It's been absolutely rock solid. I called to buy the rebuild kit and was told it was probably a waste of time since the unit gets coated with oil anyway. I still have the rebuild kit in a box somewhere.

well I cant be sure because before the tune I think it was fine, after the tune there was a definate boost leak and mis-fire, i changed the coils and plugs (only misses on a cold start occasionally) but the leak is still there

the boost leak has gotten worse though.

I should be at 20psi right now prob hitting 16 max now.

just ordered DV+ the plastic skirt stuff comes apart on my rev D, should arrive this weekend. looks like i'll be selling my greddy RS afterall.
