Both option #1 and option #3 would be nice. 1 being you can buy a decent car, still have mod money to do anything you want to it, plus having any extra just sitting around is nice. Then 3 of course cause you got want you want and it fulfills your desire for lusting after the object. So I say it's a toss up.

The problem I have with the s2000, 350z or g35 is though they are cheap and nice and reliable they don't have the power or the potential. It'd be different if they were a 14 second car stock with mod potential but they just respond like garbage to mods unless you go F/I which isn't cheap and much more costly than the gains you get. I'd fear it'd feel too slow too quick.

What series are you competing in?

That's reasonable cause why would you want a 10k + project car. An evo would be good , granted if you can a decent one that's not abused.

s2000 stock does 1/4 in just under 14 if you can drive

do gears and some boltons and you'll have low to mid 13's.

i'd say go s2000 just because i'm getting one, but in all honesty, if you don't mind the shitty interior, go evo

btw with all your talk of srt8's, are you more concerned about straight line or handling?

The SRT-8 is handles very well and stops very well. They both have brembos and contrary to popular belief because of the weight they are very capable in the straights or in the twisties. The SRT-8 Grand Cherokee is a nasty beast, there isn't much that will get it from a dig, it's AWD and does 0-60 I believe in 4.8... it's faster than the Cayenne Turbo, SRT-10 Ram, Trailblazer SS, Range Rover Sport Supercharged and actually has faster lap times than a lot of cars...

SRT-8 Grand Cherokee ran a 12.6

So you'll be using it primarily as a track car?

My buddy is selling his Magnum R/T. His new motto in searching for a replacement is "I'll take anything but a Dodge." Rattles all over, suspension problems, brake problems, electrical problems... the list goes on and on.

Maybe you could rank your priorities. So far it sounds like this:

1. Speed

2. Everything other than speed.

Are you very financially stable other than the bonus?

Plus you MISSED the car off the list you SHOULD be buying...

FUCK the EVO... You want a 07 STi Limited in WHITE!

Shit or even a 04-05 STi... Sorry STi owns EVO... Well untill the "newest" STi which is not a real STi and EVO X...
