Time for A PCS, and not digging the new List

I thought Cannon shut down. I guess they just got rid of the F-16s. I was stationed there for 2.5 years (02-05) and unfortunately its not great. Its in the middle of nowhere. But you gotta make the best of it, where ever you go.

Lackland might not be bad, it's in San Antonio TX. Tons of stuff to do.

Yea, Cannon has no planes.. just training base now...

I do believe we are turning in... We will find out in a month where we are going..

(I did alot of googling on Cannon, and that place sounds like hell)

Not sure where you heard that but they definitely have a/c there. C-130 gunships, helicopters, UAV etc.... They took over part of the mission from Hurlbert field.

Not that it matters since your not going there but just figured you might want to know I was stationed there from 03-06 and I came to Germany right as the F-16's were leaving.
