I prefer to tilt wipers up on snow days, so the wipers don't freeze to the windshield.
On my 2007 Rabbit, sometimes I can, sometimes I can't.
The wipers won't tilt in place, as the hood is in the way. Sometimes I can move the wiper arm far enough, other times it's stiff and I'm clearly working against the motor. Turning on the wiper and cutting the ignition does not work either: it always returns the wipers to home position.
So do you tip up your wipers? If so how do you get it done?
