Possible fuel cut off. What do you think???

I was trying to figure out whether I'm getting a fuel cut off or something else. I have a completely stock car but, when I take off and when the car is about to hit redline and switch gears I notice almost like I actually hit redline or something where the car jerks forward for a second till hit switches to 2nd. I do this while in S mode and let the car switch for me. What do you think this could be?

It's not a fuel cut.

Are the tires basically spinning at redline? Mine use to hang in first sometimes if the tires are spinning real badly.

No the tires seem to be gripping well at the point this happens. It really feels like it is hitting the rev limiter even.

The shifting is slow? Or just aggressive?

I have same problem before.
Maybe bad gas. Direct injection engine needs very good fuel.
Empty your tank, then try another gas station.
After 2 or 3 fills it should be OK.
