painting stock lowers

Does it look good to paint the stock plastic lowers on a black GTI? If they are not sanded is it worth it? What are some prices you have paid for it?

depends what colour, not sanding a bmp is pretty stealth...

but in the end, get it sanded... it's worth it :drool:

Good post man, I was about to do the same with my car (united gray). I need to get my hood repaired and I figured while it's there I may as well get the lowers painted if it is reasonable.

I't would def be helpful to see some pics, prices paid, and suggestions.
