I never had a chance to go out there either and now I moved back to the other half of the state. Supposed to be a pretty good track though they do all sorts of events including drifting.

It's obviously the SS (V8 sound), but I can't tell if it's an automatic or 6MT.

If it's the 6MT, it's got the 6.2L LS3 from the Corvette with 426 hp @ 5900rpm and 420 lb ft torque @ 4600 rpm. The compression ratio is 10.7:1 and the redline is at 6600 rpm.

The automatic Camaro SS has the L99 V8 with the cylinder deactivation. It has 400 hp @ 5900 rpm and 410 lb ft torque at 4300 rpm. The compression ratio is 10.4:1 and the redline is at 6200 rpm.

From the video, it almost sounded like it was an automatic and that he wasn't on it all the way. Badass video though, MkV's do pretty well for themselves at track events.

I have passed F-body Camaros before during a track day... On a track I think a GTI (with the right tires) would make quick work of the older ones. Sometimes the GTI will surprise you.
