As far as it having no spokesperson or real goals, that is true. Occupy:LA had an open discussion about these issues on the front steps of city hall. They are currently working with other Occupy's to establish leadership and goals.
Secondly, the major "issue" is not necisarilly with the government. Its the fact that the government is ultimately controlled by banks.
After the bailout banks spent Millions of (Tax payer) dollars to lobby against a Watchdog group that would ultimately oversee the banks. Millions of our own tax dollars were used against us. Not to mention the millions in bonuses that were handed out.
Media outlets are owned by banks and until recently blacked out any Occupy coverage. They have recently started showing Occupy segment, but portray it in a negative light. Saying "Protesters had a scuffle with police", BULLSHIT. People are being beaten/pepper sprayed, sexually assaulted and arrested by NYPD for NO Viable reason. Kind of makes you wonder what happened to Freedom of assembly.
"JPMorgan Chase recently donated an unprecedented $4.6 million to the New York City Police Foundation. The gift was the largest in the history of the foundation and will enable the New York City Police Department to strengthen security in the Big Apple. The money will pay for 1,000 new patrol car laptops, as well as security monitoring software in the NYPD’s main data center."
Are they really public servants? Or puppets for big banks?
