Vids to come, i am having a hard time loading them on the computer.
I went back to Island dragway today and the temps were like 50-55 F. Humidity wasnt to bad. So conditions were great. I had only about 2 gallon of gas left (my gas light was on ) but everything else stayed in the car( spare, mats etc.). Tire pressure was 35 hot which is roughly 32.5 cold. I got there at 10:45 AM to tech the car. My first run was 11:21 so i only had 35 minuted cool down, my other runs varied between 55 minutes and just over an hour, but i was still running a bit hot.
1st run, ( 3000 rpm launch letting gears shift by itself)
60, 2.146
ET. 14.319
MPH 95.63
I was pretty pleased that i just beat my time by alittle.
2nd run, ( i highered the tire pressure because i thougt i needed a little bit more wheel spin i guess i was wrong 3000 rpm launch)
60, 2.249
ET 14.537
MPH 95.07
3rd run, ( lowered the tire pressure but was still spinnig like crazy with a 3000 rpm launch)
60, 2.439
ET. 14.776
MPH 95.31
4th run, ( Tried a 2400 rpm launch alot less wheel spin)
60, 2.215
ET 14.387
MPH 95.6
5th run ( i thought i would try to shift from 3rd to 4th at 6k manually, also a 2400 rpm launch)
rt. .952
60, 2.143
330, 5.989
1/8 9.171
MPH 77.39
1000, 11.931
1/4 ET 14.269
MPH 96.33:thumbup:
6th run i messed up the launch
60, 2.157
1/4 14.307
MPH 95.88
I was extremly happy and i have both slips and video to prove it.
Track was very good a Bone stock 2002 Corvette Z06 ran 11.98
Conitiond were better then last time, again i am bone stock down to the paper filter and A/S tires. I will get the vids up ASAP.
Also people were coming over to me asking whats done to my car, when i told them it was stock you should see their face.
