My Best Day Evar Today -- What's Yours?

Well, I just found out I got a Management job that I applied for, which I TOTALLY thought I wouldn't get. $6k/year increase in pay and an additional week of vacation. Also, my 1+hour commute just turned into a 20 minute commute (this is what I am most excited about). I can't fuckin wait to start, I am sooooo stoked.

Also, the gf got a call for a job interview for a job that pays better than where she is right now (she's a nurse @ a nursing home, this job is @ a hospital).

My bonus cheque should be on my next pay too.

LIFE IS GOOD!!

:frown: I am sorry to hear that... Work at a casino! No matter how shitty things are, people will still gamble their money. Its sad but true. Regardless of the economic conditions, the company I work for is still meeting their revenue targets. Job security is the same as it was 5 years ago when I started.

Congrats, I had a bitchin' monday. Scored an 87 (out of 99) on my ASVAB. Gonna call recruiting office tomorrow to see if they received my line scores, if so get to find out if I qualify for the jobs I want.

Best day ever?
Convined the Air Force to let me ride in one of their cargo planes carrying fighter parts to Japan. Somehow stumbled my way to Twin Ring Motegi and watched races and then met a cute Japanese girl who didn't speak a lick of English but sake bridged the communication gap. Yeah definitely best day ever.

Is that why Las Vegas is one of the hardest hit cities in the US right now? City Center was on the verge of collapse and every hotel in Vegas is taking a massive hit on room rates.
