I was just curious to know how much hp I could expect to gain from the combination of a chip, intake and new downpipe (am I missing anything?). I know the chip will get me 50. What would a fairly easy to install bolt on program look like and how much would I gain? I mean what is the point of adding a bigger downpipe if it empties into the same stock (smaller) pipe?

The point is that it replaces the catalytic converter with a higher flow version, which can get more power. To really take advantage you need a stage 2 reflash, however. I couldn't tell you what the horsepower would be.

And while not strictly enforced, it's worth noting that in most cases replacing the catalytic converter is illegal.

max hp with bolt-ons right now, probably ~350-400hp with either the vf rss/rsr or apr stage 3.

catback (i.e. turboback exhaust)
high performance fuel pump
water/meth injection
fmic
hard piping
divertor valve (BSH or Forge, Eurojet to be releasing one soon)
latest PCV update

Pretty sure that covers everything.

Rysski3 or something like that has 280whp, 307wtq with pretty much all of that stuff with GIAC software on the stock turbo.
