Luk DSG DMF Flywheel

I used a Luk DMF flywheel on my 98 passat when the original wore out about 140,000 miles. Chipped 1.8t engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. Not exactly your situation, but no problems with it over the past 50k miles.

Cool. Answer I needed. I just wanted to make sure that they are well made parts before I went and bought a replacement.

my jetta had a failed DMF. The luk one is fine, its the OEm supplier for the VW one.

Just replace mine with a junkyard one, from a 09 gli, and it was made by LUK!, same symptoms you have, i had! here the dealer wanted 17000 pesos (about 1350 dlls) for a new one,so I search in the yards for a used one, got it at 500 dlls)

How much is that one going to cost you?
