Sup folks... I'm new to this forum and to GTI's for that matter. I recently bought a VW GTI MKV with approx 70k mikes on it. I wanted to get the engine checked out and called up my local dealer and explained what I wanted. The cost he quoted me had me running in terror.
I've checked out a few "experts" but was not impressed at all. I finally took it to a guy to have a tune up done, (spark plugs, timing belt, breaks, water pump), now the turbo is lazy. He confused me with a bunch of complicated terms and now I'm not sure if I can trust this guy.
Can anyone here recommend a good GTI MKV mechanic? Please help
