Definitely check it cos we were with AAMI (unfortunately my GTI still is) and those changes were made to ours... they were disclosed in all the material we got with renewal i think... the stuff i normally just chuck out!
It's definitely worth reading through this, I've noticed ever since I've been with QBE, every time a renewal comes through they sneakily removed my no claim bonus for life and upped my excess which I paid extra to reduce to $100. Then of course when you ring them up it costs extra to add these things back on - it's a scam! Like I said above, I won't be using QBE once my 4 years new for old are all gone. RAC never used to alter the policy year to year, they just used to put the premium up as the value of your car went down! At least they weren't trying to be sneaky about it.
