Just got my Mkv 2 wks ago. Found this thread this morning...great stuff.
I'm gonna post my new born here. Tint is the only mod. Will post early next week after springs and sway-bars installed. Would like some info on your favorite wheel spacer and width. Also, let me know about that resonator delete business. Listened to some clips and it sounds killer.

yeah, no headlamp washers on mine...
Think it may be one of those "factory-tuned" defects.

(I thought xenons had to have h/l washers per some freaky law)

well it is retarded in my opinon to do a res. delete. Its makes ur car super loud so u will be a cop target. Just save up and get an exhaust.

It's pretty loud when you punch it. I can say that because I had mine deleted a month ago.

I try to keep the noise down... but it satisfies me when the urge comes in.
Anyway, great choice man!

Yeah, theres an exhaust shop that we do a little business with. I think they can help me out for very few dineros. Trying to keep it on the cheap for now.

Welcome, Nice RS GTI you got there. And in regards to the Headlight washers question, they were deleted in the later 07 models i think production week 45 and on.
