well, the good news is that the leaky tire was due to a loose valve stem, fixed for free.
I have all new brakes and everything rode FINE with my Eagle GTs on. I switched to the Eagle F1s (cupped, worn all over the place and not consistent) and I began to get the vigrations and noise.
I basically just bought these to burn through for the summer.
I had the F1 A/S on my car when I bought it, and within 7000 miles they were ridiculously noisy. According to a freind who is an engineer for GY, these tires are well known to have a noise problem. I got them replaced for free (it pays to have friends) with the Eagle GT's, and after 12000 miles, the GT's are WAY better. If I was paying, I would have gotten Michelins or Contis, but for free I'm happy with the GT's. You have two choices . . . get rid of the tires, or live with the noise.
