Make sure the tires are up to the right pressure. The light will then reset on it's own. It can take up to a day however.

you might have to clear the code with the vag-com. Usually the light should go away once it see the TPM sensors are present. But if the light is still present it might be a fault or something else.

haven't got the manual in front of me, but pretty sure all you do is:

check the tyre pressures (all 4).

then turn the ignition key to 'ignition' position (don't start the engine)

Then press and hold the Tyre Monitor button until it beeps.

Hope my memory served me well

The US systems do not have a tyre monitor button.

You might try this procedure if all else fails ...

When she first turns on the car is the light solid or does it blink for about 30 seconds.

If the tires are all OK, there is nothing to worry about. When I got new tires it took a good 20 miles of driving on the highway before the TPMS warning turned off. It will work out by itself. If it doesn't you might have a bad sensor.

Thats what i'm saying. If the light blinks when the car is first turned on there is a fault in the system meaning that one or more of the sensors isn't doing its job.

If its solid on startup then either its set for a pressure above 38psi (which it shouldn't be) or it just hasn't reset itself.
