how are RE760 tires?

I have the re050a tires now with about 30k on them, and was looking for a cheaper longer lasting replacement that does not decrease performance too much, and was looking at the re760. just for normal use, not for track or anything. anyone have this tire? How is it?

Great street tire. I bought these in october last year, and used it for a month, one track session. Great tires.. and from what I've read and heard, they last real long time. I am very amazed at how much grip they have...

The RE760 is rated very high based on customer reviews at Tire Rack. A years ago I was looking at these and the Dunlop Direza tires. In the 17" size they are very close in price so I went with the Direzza's and am happy with them too. The direzza's grip really well, but I will be lucky to get over 20k miles on them, but then I drive hard at times....
