Been commuting back and forth in my MKIV GTI VR6. It will get up and go if you push it. Decided to drive the MKV to work after being stored all winter. Turned the traction stuff of and had a blast. Forgot just how much more powerful the chipped 2.0T with a few other goodies is. The VR6 feels like a slug. Wish I could afford to drive it every day.

Wait...you have a MKIV and an MKV? Are they both paid off? If so, then yeah drive whatever you want. If the MKIV is paid off, but your making payments on the MKV....then you're basically paying every month on a car you barely drive. I'd sell one of them.

I had a MKIII 2.0 as a daily and winter beater. But after a quarter of a million miles, I got bored with her. Saw the VR6 and fell in love. She's now my daily. I travel up to 700 miles a week. So I drive it to keep the miles off the MKV. MKV is my baby and show car.
