Why would your forum name be captain FSI? u obviously know nothing about this motor...1200 for a dp? u can get shit used on the classifieds...eurojet has a dp for 500$ i believe....600 for a proper remap that wont blow ur motor to pieces isnt worth it? just trade the car in and get a 92 honda bubble cuz thats what level it seems ur on

Just wanted to see what people would say.I know eclipse motor and fsi are different(his is a 1998).Its 12years old not 20!

I wanted proof not theories.....

I have to say my gti is the worst to get parts for and the prices that are put on tunning/parts are atrocious.$600.oo for a a remap,$1,200.oo for a down pipe with a cat.Come on the aftermarket companies should be ashamed asking that much.The hp to cost level is one sided.

Go back to your econobox. GTI parts are dirt cheap for a european car. Downpipe can be had for $115 shipped, tune $599. APR stage one even is a lot of hp/tq for the money. Try tuning an NA car.
