Would I be safe running a GT30 turbo kit on stock internals by just running 91 oct pump gas?

If I go IE rods, is it worth double the price for riffle drill, calico coated bearings, ARP 625+? Are these extras help with reliability & longevity? Whats highly recommended? I wanna know where my hard working money is going.

If you have a stock rod tune it will be fine. If your tuning it yourself be careful as others stated.

The FSI has weaker internals than the TSI. I wouldn't risk it.

Why bother with a BT and leave all that performance on the table?

it will run fine, people saying otherwise havent done it.

tune it, dyno it, keep it under 315 ft/lbs (thats 400whp)

x2, DD a Gt3071r setup on a stock engine for a 1 1/2 years. Sat around 380-400 whp/300-310 wtq, made countless runs at the track and still drove it to work the next day. Unitronics, Revo, Eurodyne, and .dotuning have files that produce safe power levels for the stock rods.

Wonder if GIAC offers a stock rod tune.

It would be very risky...I would upgrade rods/internals for sure if running that turbo...Best bet would be to run a K04 on stock internals!!

You're absolutely wrong my friend and it has been proven over and over again on this forum..

I think a k04 is more risky just due to the violent torque spike
