It is a good kit. Comes in three pieces, and is super easy to install.
Screw on each side(2) to the sides of the radio. Screw it into the back of the front bezel. Screw front bezel/radio into the dash. Done.

The older Scosche kit was the one that people were having issues with. It appears they've updated their old 2 piece design to the 1 piece one that you have. Glad to hear it worked out for you. Though that one still looks like poop IMO, but I suppose for the price you can't really complain.
That head unit is pretty slick though, I haven't tested out one of the NEX units yet but I'm definitely liking them :thumbsup:
