well i'm going to try and help out the text with a little diy..
i couldnt stand the yellow hue of the factor bulbs in the fogs lights so i wanted a good replacement. I decided to go with silverstar light bulbs. the fog like bulbs are 9006's. i had the silver stars in my jetta mk4's headlights and i thought they were great, especially for the price. i got both of them for 45 bucks.
this is the light output of the stock bulbs
so here we go.
first locate the open honeycomb where there is screw that holds the grill in.
unscrew and pull
i found it is easiest to pull this way. and back towards myself
now locate the three screws that hold the housing in place and unscrew
now that the housing is free place ur screw driving lightly into harness to unsnap
twist blub out and here is what u will have
get new blub and put in place
reconnect the harness by snapping it back into place
i choose to place all 3 screws in lightly, hold in place that i wanted the housing and tighten. **make sure u dont tighten to much, it can cause damage**
to replace grill start it like this
the new light output..sorry i dont have any at night yet.
