Coil Pack Failure after Plug Change

Is it common for a coil pack to fail 1500 miles after a spark plug change?

I'm thinking it was failing before and pulling them out and putting back in sped up the process...

Any thoughts?

I'm not 100% sure my shuddering problem is from a back coil pack, but that's what it seems like.

Everything was running great after I changed my plugs. I took a 500 mile round trip this weekend without a hiccup. This morning I go to accelerate from a light and the engine bogs down, CEL and get a rough shudder when accelerating. Also idles rough, like one cylinder is not firing properly.

Just picked up new coil packs, hopefully that's whats wrong

now after dropping $100 on new coils I beginning to wonder if I didn't get one of the clips pressed in all the way to latch and it fell out..

That is strange at least to me, I changed all 4 plugs and haven't had a problem... (about 6,000 miles)

interested in this as well. i had issues with my clips as well.

New coil packs fixed my problem. I did notice a white residue around one of the ends of the old coil pack.
Not sure if that means anything
