i got some VAG work done on it last monday and it showed a misfire on cylinder 1. no engine mods other than an APR chip reprogram
now, ive noticed something very odd while turning and accelerating from a dead stop with medium pressure on the gas pedal and its happened a few times before, kinda easy to duplicate too.
when i turn (hard 90 degree turn) from a full stop and press the gas (not flooring it) the car seems to 'stall' or bog out briefly, then it burps, and goes. cold or hot, it doesnt matter.
the engine drops in revs, sputters, jolts a bit, then fires up and rolls.
very odd.
im going to call Carolina VW and schedule an appointment to get the CEL and get the 5k service done at the same time, a few hundred miles early.
