Hello Guys,

My car is all jacked up and I need it for work tomorrow so I hope you can help:thumbsup:. I am working on my 09 rabbit right now doing the brakes and the pads I got from the store have a female sensor plug, but the car seems to have a female sensor plug as well:iono:. Pictures are attached. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Compare the new pad to the old. - If the connections are different......then you bought the wrong pad. :Iono:
Your probably best to just put your old pads back on and get back to the suppliers to change them up for the correct ones as it seems obvious they are the incorrect.

ended up cutting the male end off the old pad and twisting and electric tapping the wire leads from the new pad to it. It worked (brake wear light is off), but do you think it's safe to have something electric taped so close to the brakes, any fire risk?
