Hi Guys,
before i start ill be happy to put my hand up or flame suit on and say "yes, im an idiot"
About a year ago, i blackened out my rear vw hatch badge, and my rear 'gti' badge.
with the gti badge, i removed them, sprayed and then superglued them back on
(didnt really think long term or much at all for that matter)
same thing with the hatch, except i could not get the chrome 'VW' badge off that black backing so left that as one pice and just masked it.
but the black backing got superglued back onto the boot hatch mechinism.
I then got my car detailed about a month ago, and they destroyed my badge paint job, and now i have small bits of chrome coming through.
I have to get these badges back off now to re-paint, and im scared at the possible issue of damage to my car because of the super glue.
Does any one know if i will be able to use the fishing wire to saw off the badges again now that it has been superglued?
I really dont want to damage it in any way, and am stressing about causing damage.
any help would be very much appreciated.
cheers,
James
