All Season Tires

DWS Is a great UHP all season tire with emphasis on winter handling. Potenzas are a great UHP all season tire with emphasis on dry and wet handling, not winter.

Both are great; just depends on your needs...

Potenza re970as are alot better than dws and those other brands, i have them and compared to dws its a whole lot better dry,wet...

^ just bcuz you have dws doesnt make it as good or better than potenzas... Dont hate, i had dws and now potenzas and their alot better... You get what you pay for...

That makes sense. I've got dedicated winters, so based on the dry and wet performance I'd picked the RE970AS to replace my Pirellis next spring. The above article reaffirms that decision nicely.

For anyone running the one tire year round, I can see why the DWS has its fans too.

Was debating $800+ for winter tires, or $600 for A/S DWS's.
Anyone know the tread life of the "S" portion of the DWS's?
Obviously that would be the first to wear out...
