My wife is in the same situation. Has been holding on to MCR tickets for over two years. Her show has Thursday opening up. I have tickets to go see Thursday two days before at a small place that holds like 300 people. Much more my style venue than a huge arena.

Fun fact: I saw My Chemical Romance back in like 2003 or some shit at a bar in Providence.

I also try to avoid arena shows. It just ain't the same, imo. I prefer the energy of bumping into a few hundred other people in front of a stage that's only a couple feet high.

Yeah. Definitely believe the smaller the place, the better. There wasn't even really a "stage" there, just a platform.

I remember the show itself wasn't even a MCR show. They were opening up for another band. But everyone was there for them, and the place emptied out after they played. It was definitely just before they blew up. The next year they were headlining arenas in Boston.
