You did what I am doing. 02 Civic trade in. Us canadians get hosed on the car price. 36,000 OTD is lowest I can get (CDN) That is 34,000 US. I'm trying to get the car down to about 350/mo before I can agree to purchase. Insurance is 350/mo! 700$ a month is doable, 900 isn't.

I dont find this thread very useful. everyone is using a diff standard, out the door, over invoice, below sticker, lease rate, different options listed or not.

It would be better if everyone listed only what the paid below sticker or above invoice. For example my car on order has been promised for 300 over invoice.

I work at a toyota dealership, and a guy traded in a 2007 gti with 9700 miles on it. since i worked there they sold it to me for $300 over what they gave him for it:thumbup: i gave $18600, the guy left the paperwork in it from when he bought it new and it was sold for around 27000. it has the huf 18s, ground efects kit and dsg, o and pkg 1. i think i got one of the most killer deals!!!!

Well Orange + DSG only (especially the DSG part) kills the car in my book...

Leasing for $612 per mth $0 down with the taxes etc. rolled into the payments. Price of the car was $29,000CDN taxes in. This is for a 30,000km 4 year lease with a buyout of $13,200 at the end.

Car is a 07 CW on plad cloth 6spd 18's and moonroof.

I was paying $382 a month with 6.9% intrest untill the bank lost the title and said I never sent it too them....so they doubled my intrest and jacked my payment up to $436.

Good thing its gettin paid off completely before I come home from the sandbox!
