Uber Stealth Audio Review............GTI 10" Sub

I know you have posted in other threads about making a custom cover so the sub can travel more, whats the work on that? Is there anyway to maybe countersink the sub a little bit more? I know you will lose some volume doing this which will effect the sound but I think it would allow a little more travel of the sub especially if you have something heavy in your trunk.

i hope to offer a cover in about amonth. the newer boxes a recessed an extra 1/4" ( actually, they are just a 1/4" taller), i wll post pics of the cover once done

I love that stealthy action! I've been hesitating on adding a sub in the trunk because I have to actually use my trunk . If there is a way to get a grill over the sub for protection, I'd definitely be ordering me some!

Nope, not yet, but the car is completely wired and awaiting arrival of the amp tomorrow!

i installed the sub today and it sounds pretty darn good. even the install guys were surprised at how good the lil sub hit. Also they couldn't stop commenting on the high quality of the box and asked if they made any for mazda speed3's and wrx's lol
