i went with manual, its just so much fun. But if i had to get a car that was auto, i would definitely go with the DSG.
So, yeah, unless they release the DSG on more Audis, or sell the technology, it's not worth getting any other automatic. =P
you can get up to 312 ps with decreased torque....The (problem) with the dsg is not the hp but the torque tha the transmision cant handle!!!I doubt anyone actually has an actual # answer to this but how much HP's do you all think DSG can deal with? Wonder how much DSG cars can be modded.
I believe there is a 3rd European MFG'r that is supposed to come online in 2007 with dual clutch gearboxes, but again..they are all keeping tight lipped as to who they actually are.
PDKbut I do know that Porsche will be introducing DSG on the Turbo.
personally i believe that DSG is a lot better and its more fun to drive. However, you have to test drive both of them. To have a manual in US is a suicide for a transmission. If you want to play you can always swich to either sport or tipronic and it is a loooooooooot of fun!
PDK?
Porsche's DSG will be called PDK. I should have some more info about it later on, if you're interested.
PM'DAah, I see. More information is always welcome!
