You really can't compare the VW market to other import pricing unfortunately. The consumer market is much smaller and the companies are much smaller. That means higher pricing all the way around.

The fact that development is often times much more difficult in terms of raw engineering doesn't help. We don't have convenient factory locations on the shock towers for this to bolt to, which is the the norm for this type of product.

I'm interested to see how effective this is without the weight of the battery on it (mine's in the hatch.)
