Been awhile since I posted. My previous daily was a 07 Passat 3.6L 4motion wagon with 110k on it that was plagued by many electrical demons. Dealership offered me 8k in trade for it on a 09 jetta tdi cert with only 30k miles on it for 12k, So I felt it was a decent deal & went for it. The jetta was affected by the dsg recall & comes with a 10/100k extended warranty on the dsg unit which isn't too shabby.
Hopefully It'll last me a decent amount of years? Went with a tdi because I have a highway commute of about 60 miles daily & I'd like to keep the car long term.
I have a 1979 VR6T as my play toy
car is always being worked on, currently its been in the shop for two years getting a full motor rebuild & shaved bay. Should debut at cult classic 10
