I removed the resonator of the stock catback. don't like the sound, and there's too much drone, so i put the resonator back, but the muffler shop need to weld two connection pipe on the two ends of the resonator, so right now the tips stick out too far .

rather than to pay some extra money to fix it, I decided just to get another catback. I don't want it too loud, my budget is up to $400 shipped

You could always delete the briefcase with some straight pipe. That should also give you enough room to bring the tips back in. And that would come nowhere near $400.

Thanks for the reply.

Is there any sound clip on this set up?
